Common questions
Check whether the pro works with your equipment — Windows or Mac, a laptop, a desktop or a printer — and whether they come to your home. In the reviews, look at how long the repair lasted and whether the files survived.
The price is made up of diagnosis, labour and parts. Setup is charged as labour, data recovery by how hard the case is. Ask the pro to quote a price before the work starts.
If the computer still starts, copy your important files before the repair. If files are already gone, write nothing more to that drive: it gives the best chance of getting them back. Give your password in person, and change it after the work.
Press “Post a request” and describe the task: as soon as pros of this service join in your city, they will reply. A request costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
